Internal medium supply (internal cooling) with MQL
Depending on the intended purpose and the assembly space available, it may be sensible to lead the lubricant directly through the tool to the cutting edges.
For the purposes of this, an adapter sleeve is mounted onto a rotary feedthrough, where the coaxial spraying head can simply be attached. In this way, you are able to use the spraying head with the same adapter sleeve in various different tools – without the need for complex assembly work.
Applications
Internal cooling can be implemented with drilling, threading, milling, turning, etc.
